Alberto Gobber

is a designer

based in Berlin, a city I have learnt to love and respect for over a decade. As a child I lacked attention and drew a lot. I now »deconstruct and recompose« data, ideas and briefs with a design focus.

I am a passionate illustrator and css-lover; I like people and bike to work.

For the last 15 years

I have been designing print/digital media and managing creative teams. I specialise in content-analysis, concept and bridging design with dev. My latest experience was as design director for Sapera. I am currently in paternity leave and will be back in September 2022 with a big new project called Druckgraphik Atelier, in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin.

My main focus has been human rights, climate and environment, education, science and impact-oriented companies. 

That makes me proud.

But I’ve also designed for culture, art, music and a lot of friends =)

Creative Director at Lucid.Studio

I directed the development and relaunch of Lucid.Studio’s visual identity while overseeing the creative side of all projects, managing and coordinating art directors, pms and developers, leading creative discussions in and out of office and actively participating in new business, outreach and client relationships.

I had the pleasure of working for clients such as TBA-21, GIZ, Seek Development, Desy and Cyan.

I lived first hand the abrupt focalisation on digital—particularly app and web design—by the industry. It was a period of quick change, confusion and steep learning curves.

Nonetheless I came out of it a professional designer, efficient in print, animation and digital.

A year on in Berlin I started out for my network, designing menus, flyers, posters, postcards, music covers, and working as assistant photographer. I even tried my luck in film.

Through a series of friends I met Jan and Felix and started working in a restored cowshed turned co-working space.

My first agency experience.

Fascinated by the magazine I knocked on their doors and had the chance to learn some good layout design, marketing basics and proof reading.
